This site is run by pmac. I work a small UK plot and I care about tools that last. That is the whole introduction.

I write about tools and hardware, not plants. A plant shop is a different job. I am interested in the pair that still cuts, the fitting that does not weep, the stake that holds in a blow. The year turns. The kit should still work.

Most of what is sold as a garden set is filler. I would rather have fewer things that I can mend.

There are no buy links yet. If I later add one, that ad will be labelled Advertisement, and I will say it is a paid promo on the note. I do not write brand ads, and I do not invent a price.

I do not need a mission. I need a shed that is not full of things I will not pick up.
